The Free Standing Trapeze is designed to help obese or bariatric patients (up to 1,000 lbs.), and others, change position in bed and to aid in the transfer in and out of bed with minimum assistance. The overhead boom swivels from 0 degrees to 180 degrees in 45 degree increments and can be locked down in any of these positions. You can adjust the chain to hang from the edge of the headboard, directly overhead of the patient, or slide out away from the headboard to the end of the boom by simply unlocking and sliding to the desired position. It is easy to assemble and with the newly added wheels, is easy to move.
