Thank you for your interest in our Radial Swing Arm Shower Chair. This device has many uses and will accommodate any person with special needs, from the person who needs less assistance to an individual with complete dependency. This shower chair is custom tailored to fit the needs of each individual. We believe the Independent Care Products, Inc. Radial Swing Arm Shower Chair is the ultimate shower chair available on the market, today.
The Radial Swing Arm Shower Chair mounts permanently in the bath or shower area. At one end it mounts to the floor and ceiling outside of the bathing area. This will not interfere with the other family members usage of the same area. When not in use the device can be indexed out of the way. The Radial Shower Swing Arm will enable the person to transfer from a wheel chair into the Radial Shower Seat outside of the bathing area. Then the individual is indexed over the tub or shower area for bathing. The shower seat has a 360 degree rotation allowing the individual full use of the shower area. And a safety belt insures the individuals confidence and safety while bathing.
It is very important that the Radial Swing Arm Shower Chair be tailor fit in order to best serve the needs of the individual. Our RS-34 form (requires Acrobat Reader, a Free download from Adobe.com) should be completed and returned to us at the time of ordering. (A RS-34 will be provided on request.) This form will provide us with the correct information to design the shower chair to fit the individual. Some of the things the form will ask are weight; if the person uses a wheel chair; what is the seat height of the chair; the height of the tub or shower compartment from the floor. Also it will be necessary to know the distance from the floor to the ceiling and the type of flooring and ceiling in the room. This information will be processed to insure the best operation of the system possible.
